My husband just got an XBOX 360 4GB Kinect. He is playing Indiana Jones 2 Lego and having problems saving.?

When he finishes a level he should be able to save. He completed the entire first section consisting of 5 levels. Even though he said it is on auto-save, none of it saved. What are we doing wrong?
