Are bath salts a dangerous new drug, and are they illegal anywhere in the United States of America?

There's always going to be something that a bunch of fools will find a way to abuse. Everything from glue to household cleaning products to cold medications. Anything has the potential for abuse and these idiots would just find a way to make these products themselves. I hope the government doesn't cave in and ban these products that normal people use for what they're intended to be used for.
