I have Windows 7 and my task bar will disappear if I lock my account and log back on.?

So what happens to be more specific is I will close my laptop later I will open it and log back on my account and the task bar at the bottom will have disappeared. The start button with the windows logo will still be there. The only thing that works to get it back is to restart my laptop. I have check all the settings and the auto- hide is unchecked and i have it locked. Any suggestions to what I can do to stop it from disappearing or how to get it back with out restarting? Thanks in advanced.
