Sata I and SATA II Harddrives?

It is simply a typing error then in the specifications. There are currently three SATA standards: SATA aka SATA150 (1,5 Gb/s), SATA II aka SATA300 (3,0 Gb/s) and SATA III aka SATA600 (6,0 Gb/s). Your motherboard will need to accept the chosen standard, otherwise your hard drive will not function.
